Back in May 2020, I saw Denver Zoo’s plea for help on social media and I became a member. I started visiting the Zoo regularly, and was relieved to find a beautiful place to walk where masks and social distancing were required.

But I wasn’t prepared for the animals. I fell in love! Soon I was taking photos of every animal I could “capture,” and posting on Facebook. My friends loved it! I loved it! I love all the animals, but I felt a special love for Mojo. He was so beautiful—such a big lovely cheetah. When he passed away, I cried all day. Rest in peace, Mojo.
