On December 23, 2016, my boyfriend, parents, sister, and myself went to Zoo Lights. Evidently, everyone knew what was going to happen that night except me! I was walking around and taking pictures, and everyone else walked ahead a bit. We came up to the penguin on the ice floe display. It was there by the fence that my boyfriend got down on one knee with a ring, and proposed! I said yes, of course, and he is my husband today!
